Individuals

Individuals gain insight and build tools to face challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, grief and loss, family issues, and specific life stressors. I use multiple approaches including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) rooted in CBT and mindfulness. I also use Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Internal Family Systems therapies.

Couples

I specialize in working with couples looking to rebuild, heal, and rejuvenate their relationship and address issues including communication, conflict, connection, infidelity, trust, trauma, family concerns, adjusting to life transitions, and parenting. I use a variety of approaches including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, and Solution Focused Therapy to help couples find relationship satisfaction, hope, and lasting change.

Parenting

Parenting issues can cause a great deal of stress in daily life. You love your child and want to guide them toward positive behaviors both at home and at school. I am certified in the Kazdin Parent Management Training (KPMT) method through the Yale Parenting Center. I use evidence-based techniques steeped in years of scientific research teaching parents tools and strategies to provide hope and improve the parent/child relationship.

Families

Family discord can create stress, conflict, and distance within the family. I work with family members looking to reduce conflict, and improve the interactions and connections in order to positively impact the family relationships. The family systems approaches I use address the interactional patterns, emotional bonds, family structure, and ways of problem solving within the family.
